What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:
I really enjoyed senior year when our shiur became a Beis Midrash shiur. We got to learn in the main Beis and see the Rosh Yeshiva every day. I also loved the Shabbatons and the Torah Bowl. The Yamim Noraim davening was very special, the best I ever experienced. I was also there when the baseball field got renovated - that was a big deal!
Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:
Being at the Yeshiva with the long day and with the dual curriculum really prepared me for college and med school. It taught me time management, and I had a leg up when I was studying. It also taught me the importance of having a learning seder to start the day.
Advice for current students:
Take advantage of the fact that The Yeshiva is a Modern Orthodox place that has a Rosh Yeshiva. You get a sense of what it's like to be a part of a real yeshiva so take advantage of it!
