Tell us a little bit about your family: Married with 2 kids

Profession: Pediatric Pulmonologist and Sleep Physician

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

A lot of the great memories are surrounding friends, especially how guys showed up at my door Shabbos morning after the chimney fiasco. They walked right in and felt comfortable just eating breakfast there. Some even stayed a couple weeks, and it personified the types of relationships we created in that they all felt comfortable doing that. 

I loved how Rabbi Twersky trusted us so much to learn independently and gave us that autonomy. I felt when I was at Shaalvim, the Skokie guys were the best prepared. That really stands out.

I remember at our Purim seudah he would ask us to identify an object. Then he left the room and identified it without asking us anything which was a very cool trick! He did ask us to make sure to attend all shiurim after that. We tried!

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

The skills that we gained in the Yeshiva were very important and set us up for success. Also, the friendships we made, despite going in many different directions after high school, allowed us to support each other. The bonds that we created lasted forever. It helped us succeed in life. 

Advice for current students:

Stay in school and don't vape! Take advantage of the time to explore things in both Jewish and general studies, and that you can pursue further on your own.
