Graduating Year: 1999

Current Location: Cedarhurst, NY

Profession: Police Officer in NYC

Tell us a little bit about your family:

Married with 5 girls

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

My favorite rabbis were Rabbi Cardash, Rabbi Haskell, and Rabbi Rand. I loved all the sports at the Yeshiva, like basketball and softball. I actually learned about softball at Skokie.

The lightning strike was a huge memorable event. I loved staying at friends. I stayed at Tzvi Aronin for so long. During that time, I was sick and not going to school. Rabbi Wender had to call around to find me!

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

I started to learn to connect with Rabbis after I got to Israel and really came to appreciate the rabbis at the Yeshiva.

Advice for current students:

Forge your future and set the tone instead of slacking off and trying to get by. Take it all in and use the Rabbis to their full potential.
