Rabbi Noach Goldstein Joins FYHS

FYHS is excited to announce the hiring of Rabbi Noach Goldstein beginning with the start of the 2023-24 school year. He will teach the highest-level 11th grade shiur.

Rabbi Goldstein has served as the Rosh Beis Midrash of the YU Torah Mitzion Kollel of Chicago since 2020. In that capacity, he helped direct the Kollel’s internal learning, where he gives weekly chaburos in gemara and halacha. Rabbi Goldstein teaches Torah at almost every level and age group, from programs for elementary and high schoolers to community shiurim to a weekly retirees’ Kollel.

Originally from Teaneck, NJ, Rabbi Goldstein is a graduate and musmach of Yeshiva University, where, after receiving semicha, he learned for four years in the Bella and Harry Wexner Kollel Elyon, led by Rav Michael Rosensweig and Rav Mordechai Willig. Rabbi Goldstein also holds an MA in Medieval Jewish History from YU’s Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. Prior to YU, Rabbi Goldstein learned for two years in Eretz Yisrael at Yeshivat Har Etzion.

In New York, Rabbi Goldstein served in numerous roles at The Jewish Center on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, most recently as assistant rabbi. During that time, Rabbi Goldstein also taught an advanced gemara shiur to students at Columbia University.

Rabbi Goldstein lives in West Rogers Park with his wife, Alexis—HTC’s Director of Institutional Advancement—and their four children. He is thrilled to join the FYHS team!
