In mid-January, FYHS held a powerful and inspiring Tefillah Yom Iyun, giving our talmidim the opportunity to pause, reflect, and reconnect to the meaning of davening.

The day opened with Rabbi Liebtag’s thoughtful presentation on the state of our tefillah, a conversation that set the tone for a meaningful morning of growth and self-reflection.

Following breakfast, students participated in breakout shiurim, choosing from a wide range of dynamic sessions led by our rabbeim, each focusing on different aspects of tefillah and various parts of davening—bringing depth, clarity, and relevance to something we do every day.

We were also privileged to welcome guest speaker Rabbi Micah Greenland, who delivered an inspiring message reminding our students that HaKadosh Baruch Hu is always listening and always accessible, along with practical tools to strengthen their personal tefillah.

The program concluded with additional shiur slots that left students energized and uplifted. It was an impactful, thoughtful, and dynamic day, and we look forward to continuing to bring meaningful tefillah programming to our talmidim.
