Skokie Mayor Ann Tennes Visits HTC

On Thursday, February 5, HTC was honored to welcome Skokie’s new mayor, Ann Tennes, for a visit to both the Touro University Illinois campus on Fargo Ave. and our main campus. The visit was led by HTC CEO Rabbi Shmuel Schuman and joined by HTC Board of Governors Co-Chair Aveeshi Lev, along with BOG member and former co-chair Brian Levinson. During her tour of the main campus, Mayor Tennes got a firsthand look at the kol Torah of our Beis Midrash during morning Seder (she said she loved the energy!), and also saw our dining hall and the Rothner Family Gymnasium, where she met students during a morning break. During her visit she also met Rosh HaYeshiva Rabbi Moshe Revah and FYHS Principal Rabbi Aaron Leibtag. We look forward to partnering with Mayor Tennes and continuing our long-standing close working relationship with the Village of Skokie.
