On November 20th, over 150 HTC alumni and friends gathered for The Tisch at Shallots Bistro for a night filled with unbelievable ruach, great food, lively music, inspiring Divrei Torah, and the kind of camaraderie that makes the HTC community so special.
The evening, which marked the kickoff of HTC’s 102nd year, was the perfect backdrop for reconnecting with Rebbiem, old friends, and meeting new faces. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, as laughter and conversation flowed easily over the beautiful Music of Mendy Worch and uplifting words of Zecharia Levine (a.k.a. L’Chaim OG).
The evening’s true highlight was the incredible performances by Mendy Worch and L'Chaim OG. Mendy Worch set the tone with his soulful music, drawing the entire crowd into the spirit of the Tisch. L’Chaim OG kept the energy high with his uplifting divrei chizuk, compelling stories, and dynamic music. Together, they created a warm and lively atmosphere, bringing alumni and friends together in celebration.
Adding to the inspiration of the night were divrei Torah from our Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Moshe Revah, who reminded everyone of the core values that define HTC. Emcee Efrayim Prero also introduced Rabbi Yaakov Sussman, our Harbatzas Torah Award recipient for January, honoring his remarkable 30 years of dedication to spreading Torah in our Beis Midrash.
The Tisch perfectly encapsulated the spirit of HTC. The energy, Torah, and music from the night will undoubtedly carry forward as the Yeshiva continues to flourish into its 102nd year. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we look forward to seeing you at more exciting events in the future!
