Graduating Year: 2000

Current Location:  Boca Raton, FL

Profession: Working at Goldman Sachs as a software engineer.

Tell us a little bit about your family:

I’m married to Rivka Batsheva.

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

I could go on forever about the Yeshiva. I was an out-of-towner and had tremendous Shabbasim at the Yeshiva. I'm still in touch with Rabbi Ginsparg and Rabbi Twerski as well as a few guys from my class.

The chimney lightening fiasco was a notable memory.

I also fondly remember the Friday night oneg Shabboses, those were really special with Daniel Freund leading the singing.

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

The mussar schmoozes were the highlights of the week. Rabbi Weiss was so good at them. I made a shiva call to him in Lakewood a couple years ago and he is a special rebbe for me.

Advice for current students:

Spend as much time in the Beis Midrash as you can!

Anything else to share?

The Beis Midrash at Skokie was a special place to me. My parents live in Chicago now, so I love visiting. There are sefarim there that are in the same place that I like to pick up. I love the familiar smells as well. It's a great place to sit and learn, bh.
