Graduating Year: 2013

Current Location: Bergenfield, NJ

Profession: Middle School Judaics teacher and Director of Student Activities at The Moriah School in Englewood

Tell us a little bit about your family: Married with 2 kids

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

The Rebbeim were always interested to connect with the students both in class and outside for anything that came up. I loved playing in the intramural leagues. I made a lot of friends from all over the country and loved having them for Shabbos.

We had a long day but the staff made it enjoyable. I was close with Rabbi Weiss and Ramzag. They were great role models.

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

The Yeshiva taught me that you can accomplish a lot with the time that you have. When I got to yeshiva in Israel I was prepared because of the schedule that I was used to at the Yeshiva.

I also learned that learning Torah was something you always want to do and there is always more stuff to learn.

Advice for current students:

Make the most of whatever you are doing. Especially of the people around you.
