Graduating Year: 2007

Current Location: Skokie, IL

Profession: Working for a medical equipment company, building AI and automation for them for better processes. I also work at Ateres Ayala, running their smachot (have probably done close to 100 weddings, many for people in the community), and I run the kitchen at NCSY Shabbatonim.

Tell us a little bit about your family: Married with 4 kids.

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

The ski trip was a ton of fun. I loved hanging with the guys. I had Rabbi Schechter my Junior year and still have a good relationship with him today.

My best memories were at Kayitz, which I went to for 10 years. I went from camper to head counselor. I'm still close with Rabbi Zvi and Rabbi Uri Zimmerman.

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

I was taught to just be a good guy and have good midos. Be light hearted and try to just be easygoing. Do Chesed. I won a chesed award my senior year and never let that go.

Advice for current students:

Enjoy the experience. Get involved as much as you can and don't stay in the background. Build a relationship with your rebbeim because you will want to go to them later in life for advice.
