Graduating Year: 2003

Current Location: Springfield, NJ

Profession: Finance working at Prudential

Tell us a little bit about your family:

Married with 3 kids

What is your favorite memory/(memories) from FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

I had 5+ boys at my house during the mercury spill. The interaction with the rebbeim was very warm. I was very close with Rabbi Schachter, he married my wife and me. I was close with Rabbi Polstein through my many years working at Kayitz.

I came from Cincinnati. My parents gave me money to spend, and I spent it all on soda, so being in the Yeshiva was a gateway to independence. Then my parents moved to Chicago and got to be in-town and out-of-town. I got the best of both worlds.

Please share a lesson/takeaway from your time at FYHS/HTC/Kayitz:

I learned independence and autonomy. It also taught us to be able to sit and be patient do to the long day. Out of all people in my network, I have the strongest relationships with friends from the Yeshiva.

Advice for current students:

Make the most out of the experience. This isn't a typical day school or yeshiva. You get to build real bonds with Rebbeim and students alike.
