Spotlight on Dr. Ricky Zimmerman (FYHS '99)

Where do you live:

Pne Kedem in southeastern Gush Etzion.

Tell us about your family:

I am married with 5 kids. My oldest is 19 and learning in Yeshivat Bet El. My other kids learn various schools in Jerusalem and Gush Etzion. My wife is a Ramit in Midrasha.

Occupation (outside of the army):

I am physician in the intensive care unit in Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Where are you serving in the IDF and in which Unit:

I am a physician in a Combat Engineering Battalion that is based in the Golan but currently serving in Gaza.

What gives you chizuk during your army service:

The way all of Am Yisrael - each person in his own way - is joined in supporting our battles.
