Off the Field: Achdus and Inspiration
A major highlight of the weekend was a Romanian BBQ and inspiring kumzitz-concert, sponsored by HTC and made possible thanks to a few generous donors. Featuring Thank You Hashem artist Mendy Worch, the event brought together over 400 players from across the spectrum of Jewish observance for a moving night of music and unity.
“It was so beautiful to see boys from so many backgrounds compete fiercely on the baseball diamond, but then come together at the kumzitz, arm in arm,”shared Rabbi Levy Sheinfeld, FYHS Assistant Principal who accompanied the team.“I'm in awe of the ruach these boys brought and how much they enjoyed this meaningful experience together.”
Leading With Character
Beyond baseball, FYHS made its mark by representing the Yeshiva with pride and responsibility. Coaches Avner and Perl noted:
“Our boys lained and were gabbaim at the communal minyan at Beth Jacob, and we were leading the singing and dancing at the HTC event with Mendy Worch. Our players compete with confidence, but also lead with character. Thank you for your support in making this possible.”
Thank You
Mazel tov to our incredible team on this national achievement! We extend our sincere appreciation to our coaches, Yeshiva staff, dedicated parents, and generous sponsors who make FYHS Baseball possible.
